Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNEALE EDWARD MCCALL All Aboard! Surrounded by his girls, Neale McCall passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the age of 80. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years, Margaret Anne (nee Sagar); his daughters, Janice (B.) Failes and son Jedidiah of Virginia, and Karen (Rick Brown) and son Michael of Churchill, other beloved family members. Neale was predeceased by his mother, father, brother, mother-in-law Mary Knowler, brother-in-law Jim Sagar, and niece Rosemary Lynn Hopkins. Neale was born in Edmonton on May 24, 1929 to Warren Edward Wesley McCall and Jennie Maria de Winter. He was little brother to Lawrence (Mac). He met the love of his life while delivering Coca-Cola where Margaret worked and they were married on March 15, 1952. Neale's marketing career with C.N.R. (and later VIA) began in 1955 including acting as a Tour Escort. Daughter Janice was born in Edmonton (1959) and daughter Karen was born in Dauphin (1964). Neale retired from the railway in 1986. Curling, bowling, fundraising for many charities, the Via Vets, Northern Lights Care Club, travelling and spending time with his daughters' families were things Neale enjoyed. A memorial service for Neale is planned for Saturday, March 20 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen's Anglican Church, 220 Helmsdale Ave. His family wishes to acknowledge the I.C.U. staff at the Concordia Hospital, and the Kildonan Place Mall Walkers and staff for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, Neale would encourage donations to charities of your choice and to go for a walk. Neale was, and remains, the definition of a loving Daddy/Grandpa. His daughters felt that powerful love, despite living so far from their childhood home. He has passed on his great sense of humour, ability to tell jokes and puns, and his passion for trains. Neale made all those around him feel special and we will miss him dearly. His family requests any happy memories be shared in writing to be passed on to his grandsons. The circle of life continues. All aboard! Arrangements entrusted to: KLASSEN FUNERAL HOME 1897 Henderson Hwy. - 338-0331 Send expressions of sympathy at www.klassenfuneralhome.com
