Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANTONIA CAZZORLA Peacefully on Monday, March 15, 2010, Antonia Cazzorla passed away at the Deer Lodge Centre at the age of 79 years. She was predeceased by her father Giacamo and mother Maria, a sister Porzia, as well as her aunt/stepmother Porzia. She leaves behind her husband Umberto; their son Frank (Kerry); and two grandsons, David and Paul; three Corbacio siblings; brothers, Mike, Dino; and sister Maria. Born Antonia Corbacio, on December 11, 1930, in Monopoli a province of Bari, Italy, she immigrated to Winnipeg, where both she and her husband Umberto raised a family. They first lived in the Northern area of Winnipeg, finally moving to River Heights, where they were actively involved in the Corydon business section known as Little Italy. She had lived in the River Heights area for over 30 years, and had been suffering with multiple medical conditions, but then, after having had a minor stroke, she was admitted to the Victoria Hospital in February of 2009. Prior to this, her loving husband of over 50 years, had for six years, been caring for her in their home. Mass of the Resurrection to be held on Monday, March 22, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. Viewing at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. Reverend Father Sam Argenziano celebrant.
