DORIS MURIEL HAMILTON (AUNTIE DOT) Peacefully on Monday, March 15, 2010, Auntie Dot passed away at the age of 91. She was predeceased by her parents, Jennie and Dan and her brother Raymond. Left to remember are her sister-in-law Marjorie; niece Val and nephew Grant (Bonnie); great-nieces, Lynn (Paul) and Dawn (Colin) and great-great nephew Matthew and great-great nieces, Sarah, Taylor, Ashley and Jordan. Doris was born on May 5, 1918 and raised on the family farm in the Warren area. Upon completing her education she lived the greater part of her adult life in the west end of Winnipeg. At the time of her retirement she was employed by Carter Temro Limited. Auntie Dot was an avid sports fan who seldom missed a game of hockey or football on the TV or radio. She was a great lover of all animals and in particular her poodle Teddy. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the care and compassion Auntie Dot received at Oakview Place where she resided since 2007. Cremation has taken place and a family graveside service will be held at a later date. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
