THOMAS STANLEY TAYLOR June 13, 1946 March 13, 2010 With great sadness, we say goodbye to Tom: a brother to Alice Baker (Bill), an uncle to nine, a great-uncle to 11, a great-great-uncle to two, and longtime friend to Rick and Mary. Tom was predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Edna Taylor, his sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Joe Simpson, his brother Steven, and his great-nephew, Daniel Baker. Tom was born in the Brooklands area, later moved to Stony Mountain, Komarno, Ashern, and recently, Selkirk. Tom worked for the Winnipeg School Division #1 for 28 years before retiring in 2008. He then spent many days involved with his favourite pastimes, hunting and fishing, until failing health no longer allowed him to. As per Tom's request, a private family service will held in April. Donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or The Kidney Foundation of Canada, in lieu of flowers. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
