Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN ARTHUR HARDY January 15, 1947 March 14, 2010 Our beloved John passed away peacefully on March 14, 2010 in London, ON, surrounded by his wife (Maureen), children (Andrea, Ross, and Ian), and sister-in-law (Jan). Born in England and immigrated to Southern Ontario in 1954. He was predeceased by his parents, George Arthur and Kathleen Patricia Hardy and his mother-in-law, Isobel Gunness. John is remembered by his brother Michael, sister-in-law Janice, their children, Tim and Jennifer, brother Roy, his wife Karen, daughter Kay and Aunt Gwen Gibson and extended family in England and Australia. John grew up in Tillsonburg/Delhi, ON and graduated from The University of Western Ontario. As a teacher, a computer science professional, and project manager, throughout the years John set high standards and provided leadership to any company with which he was employed. John loved Hawaii, golf, curling, and life but most of all, his family and wonderful friends from the many adventures of his life. John is remembered by Maurice Gunness (father-in-law), Barry and Cynthia, Grant (Jeremy and Chigusa), Jan and Mike (Sarah, Kyle) Allison (Jennifer, Johnathon) and extended family in Winnipeg, Calgary and Morden. A special thank you to the incredible staff at Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg and London whose tireless efforts were very much appreciated by John and family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Canadian Diabetes Association, Salvation Army, Humane Society, or a charity of your choice. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, March 27 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Rossmere Golf and County Club. This will include a toast to John at 3:00 p.m. CST for those who cannot be present.
