DONALD FEDORUK After a short, courageous battle with cancer, Donald Fedoruk passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. Donald will be lovingly remembered by the love of his life and wife of 46 years, Olga (nee Polson), children Dawn-Marie (Mark) and Robert (Susan), grandchildren Evana and Alexa, and sisters Elsie and Florence. Also left to mourn his loss are sisters-in-law Emily, Jennie and Nettie, brothers-in-law Danny, Peter (Charlene), Jerry (Louise) and Johnny (Cathy), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Donald was predeceased by his mother Jean, mother-in-law Mary, brothers Joe and Roy, brothers-in-law Steve, Peter, Hunchy, Billy and sister-in-law Della. Donald was born on February 17, 1936 and raised in Winnipeg's North End. He was employed for 41 years at Centra Gas and truly loved his job. Upon retirement his hobbies included travelling, walking in Kildonan Park and visiting Casinos. Dad's favourite pastime was working in his beloved backyard, cold beer in hand and soaking up the sun. His greatest accomplishment was his family. He loved them above all else. We would like to thank all of our extended family for all of their love and support over the years and especially over the last few weeks during our greatest time of need. Special gratitude goes to Dr. Vanameyde, Dr. Silha and Nurse Rita of GB3 at Health Sciences Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted in Dad's name to CancerCare Manitoba or the Humane Society. Memorial service will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street on Friday, March 26, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111
