CHRISTOPHER M. BENSON It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher M. Benson on March 21, 2010 at Riverview Health Centre. Chris was born in Bromley, Kent on June 24, 1944 to Miriam and Milton, and came to Canada as an infant. He lived in Petawawa and then Kingston, ON before settling in Winnipeg where he met and married Linda, his wife of 36 years. Besides Linda, he will be missed by his son Tyler (Ashley), daughter Stephanie (fiancé Ryan), his mother Miriam (Toni), brother John, sisters Pam and Margaret, his granddaughter Kiera and many nieces and nephews across Canada. Chris was an amazing accountant and was much loved and respected by the clients he served. He loved golf and spent thousands of hours at Rossmere and golfed at courses around the world. He will also be missed by the M.W.J.H.L. Special thanks to all the nurses and doctors at CancerCare and the Palliative Care nurses on 3E at Riverview and all of our special friends who have been there from the beginning to the end. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street, Winnipeg.
