LORRAINE BESSIE MOORE It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Lorraine Moore, on March 20, 2010 at Vista Park Lodge at the age of 80 years. She was predeceased by her loving husband Fred, parents William and Bessie Muir, brother Lorne Muir, sisters Pat Clark, Shirley Holm, and Helen Cumming. Mom leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Colleen (Rick), and son Jim (Melanie), and grandchildren Hannah and Thatcher, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Mom was born March 16, 1930 and grew up in St. Vital and worked many years at Paulin Chambers before marrying Dad in 1965. She was a past member of the St. Vital Legion and Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed going to play bingo each week. She also loved spending summers with family at the lake near Lac du Bonnet. She took great pride in her grandchildren and will be remembered for her kind and generous heart. We wish to extend our appreciation to the staff at the Victoria Hospital and Vista Park Lodge for their care and compassion and to all our family and friends for their support. A memorial service celebrating Mom's life will take place Saturday, March 27 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
