MINNIE TRYBELL (nee Peiluck) September 13, 1926 - March 21, 2010 The family of Minnie Trybell sadly announces her passing on Sunday, March 21, 2010 with family by her side at the Fred Douglas Lodge at the age of 83 years. Minnie was predeceased by her loving husband Stanley in 2007, brothers: Victor, Joe and Bob; sisters: Helen, Jean, and Hilda. She will be forever missed by her sister Lil, daughter Brenda (Mike) Harboway, her son Andy (Darlene, Penny) and youngest daughter Sue (Joe) Lambert; grandchildren Tina (Dean) Drimes, Corey Harboway, Stan (Jenny) Trybell, Steven and Lindsay Trybell, Lee Couper, Tyler and Michelle Lambert; great-grandchildren Emma, Christina and Calvin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Minnie was born and raised in Winnipeg MB. Her love of baseball started at a young age, she played for the C.U.A.C. Blues and became a local star for her pitching talent. She was inducted into the Manitoba Softball Hall of Fame on May 7, 2005. Her great loves included sports of many kinds, cooking, playing cards, and most of all time spent with her husband and family. Sunday dinners will never be the same; however the traditions will live on. Minnie lived at Fred Douglas Lodge for the last two years, on Willow Unit. The family would like to deeply thank all of the staff who cared for her. In celebration of Minnie's life, a service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 26, 2010 at Glen Eden Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in honour of Mom's memory may be made to the Manitoba Softball Hall of Fame, care of Sharon Martin, 118 Braintree Cres. Winnipeg, MB, R3G 1E2.
