SANDRA ARLENE KAMKE (nee KOPISKY) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Sandra Arlene Kamke on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at her residence at the age of 68 years. Remaining to remember Sandra are her sons, Paul (Rose) and Brian (Diana); brothers, Doug and Ted and sisters, Vera and Valerie and numerous nieces and nephews. Granny will also be remembered by her grandchildren, Joseph, Christopher, Andrew and her step-grandchildren, Jordan, Sarah and Matthew. She was predeceased by her husband Clarence, her parents, Bernice and Albert Kopisky and by her brother Ed. Sandra was born on December 9, 1941 to Bernice and Albert Kopisky. She loved photography, electronics, collecting Beanie Babies and fishing the Red River in Lockport. She loved animals, especially Chihuahuas and some of her happiest moments were spent on the farm at Libau with Clarence, and in recent years with the Good Neighbours group in East Kildonan. On Monday, March 29, 2010 a service of Remembrance will be held at 11:00 a.m., at St. Joseph's Parish Hall, 515 College Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made in Sandra's memory to the Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter, 832-7387.
