Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPIERLUIGI VENDRAMELLI March 21, 1931 - March 23, 2010 Surrounded by family on March 23, 2010 dad passed away and is no longer in pain, but in the arms of the Lord. He will be missed and remembered by his wife Emma; his children and their families: Tomasina (Giovanni), Loris (Donna), Michael (Anna) and Mara (Tim); grandchildren: Claudia (Eric), Mario, Jeff (Stephanie), Richard (Stepanka), Robert (Liz), Mark (Chantelle), Alessandro (Ashley), Sara (Steven), Stefania (David), Adriana, Nicoletta and Adam. He will miss his great-grandchildren: Noah, Mattea and Nicholas. Also mourning his loss are his niece Ana Maria (Carlo) and nephew Danny (Cyndi) and their families all of Winnipeg. Many brothers, sisters, in-laws and many nieces and nephews in Italy, United States and Canada. Many thanks to his brothers Mario and Bruno who were here at the time of his passing. He was born in Vittorio Veneto, Treviso, Italy and came to Canada in 1955 to start a new life with his family. He was followed by Emma, Tomasina and Loris in 1956. He lived the remainder of his life in Manitoba starting out in Virden and finally residing in Winnipeg. He made Canada his home. He was a master craftsman and before retiring due to health issues he had his own decorating company. He was very active in the Italian community in Winnipeg. He was a member of the Fogolar Association, Italian Canadian League and of the Knights of Columbus. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 27 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. with viewing at 10:00 a.m., Reverend Father Sam Argenzenio celebrant. Entombment in Assumption Cemetery, Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, 3990 Portage Ave. The family would like to thank those at home care and also at Grace General Hospital emergency for their care and compassion. Flowers are graciously declined, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in his name.
