ESTHER MARGARET WILLIAMSON (DAVIS) Born August 6, 1922 to Esther and Jack Davis. Passed away on March 24, 2010 at her home in River Park Gardens. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Hugh, her parents, her brother Jack and his wife Lorina. Margaret leaves two daughters Cathy (Harry Knight) and grandchildren Anna and Brian of Ohio, Sandra and friend Kate of Edmonton; her son John and three grandchildren Michael, Scott and David. Thanks to John for all your help for an elderly lady. Margaret was born in Winnipeg. She worked for The Bay until January 1942, when she joined the R.C.A.F. and spent four years in Halifax in Flight Control. After discharge in October 1945, she returned to The Bay to work for the Winnipeg Symphony until she received the Honour of being the ticket agent for season tickets. She married Hugh in June of 1948. She retired when Hugh passed away in 1988. Margaret and her mother were 50 year members of the Rebekah's Lodge #2. Mum loved her children with all her heart and they gave her love back. To her children - Don't lose track of each other, you're all I had to live for. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Margaret's Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba. A special thank you to all the staff of River Park Gardens for all your patience and compassionate care.
