EVA MAY BLANCO It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Eva Blanco on March 21, 2010, at 88 years of age. Eva was born and raised near Moosomin, SK and spent most of her married life in Sanford, MB, where she hair dressed for many years. She and her husband Henry retired to Winnipeg in 1981. Since December 2009, Eva had been living with her daughter in New Brunswick because of failing health. She is survived by her youngest daughter Teresa (George) Milne of Sanford, MB and her six children, Brodie, Colter, Jesse, Samantha, Tawny and Rayne; her eldest daughter Cheryl (Wayne) Zorn of St. Anne de Kent, NB and her three children, Brennan, Justin and Tanya; three sisters, Alice Ward of Rocanville, SK, Ethel Chown of Langley, BC and Doris Smith of Elkhorn, MB, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Henry in 1995 and her older brother Jim in 1999. Eva was a faithful member of the Fort Garry Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for many years and had a firm hope in the resurrection promise as recorded at John 5:28,29. A Memorial service will be held on Monday, April 5, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 60 Cadboro Rd., Winnipeg.
