LEON GEORGE JOBIN It is with great sadness that the family of Leon Jobin announces his passing on March 10, 2010 at the Tache Centre in Winnipeg. Leon was born in St. Jean Baptiste on December 29, 1924 to Angus and Marie-Anna Jobin. Leon will be greatly missed by his wife Solange; his sister Lorraine; his children, Raymonde Marion, Denis (Debra) Jobin, Rachel (Normand) Bremaud, Doris (Edouard) Robert; his grandchildren, Colleen Marion, Christine Bremaud, Melanie (David) Lemoing, Amber Jobin, Ryan Jobin, Brittni Robert, and Kate Robert; and his great-grandchildren, Isabel Lemoing, Keyshawn Bremaud, and Alex Lemoing. Leon and Solange married on September 19, 1950 and together they raised a family of four children in St. Jean Baptiste. Leon began his own painting business and took pride in being a good provider for his family. He believed in fairness and strong work ethics. Leon would always take time to sit, share a joke and chat with anyone. He valued friendship and to him no one was a stranger. The children would like to thank the Tache Centre for the care Dad received these past years. Thank you to Mom for your dedication and countless hours spent caring for Dad. We may no longer live in the same house, but you're always in our hearts. A funeral mass for Leon will be held on Monday, March 29, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at the St. Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or any charitable donation of your choice.
