LINDA LONES (KOMUS) March 15, 1948 - March 15, 2010 Linda, a creative soul, passed away at her home in Victoria BC. Linda, born and educated in Winnipeg, moved to Vancouver in 1979, spent the 1980s in the West Kootenay of Interior BC and moved in 1991 to Victoria, BC where she lived until her passing. Linda, until 2002, had been employed as a senior-level executive assistant for government ministries in both Manitoba and BC. Linda enjoyed sunshine, sewing, photography, and art. She leaves behind her forever friend Stephen Lones as well as family Diana and Doug Stokes. In lieu of funeral services, a memorial to celebrate her life will be held at Slocan Lake.
