Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH (BETTY) BUCKLE (nee LAU) February 11, 1926 - March 22, 2010 Elizabeth (Betty) Buckle passed away peacefully at George Derby Centre in Burnaby, BC. Betty is survived by her loving and devoted husband of nearly 63 years, Alfred Al , their children Elsabeth (Gord), Rick (Terri), Andy (Fran), Donald (Beverly), Alanna (Ken), seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Betty was born in Selkirk, MB and moved to Calgary, AB as a teen. She then moved to Vancouver, BC where she met and married Al. They then moved to south Burnaby, BC where they raised their family for almost 50 years. Our family would like to recognize the wonderful staff at George Derby Centre for the excellent and compassionate care they gave to our mom and continue to give to our dad. There will be no memorial service as per her request. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in our mother's name to the George Derby Centre, 7550 Cumberland St., Burnaby, BC V3N 3X5. Our mom was an Angel in life and now in death and we know she will be watching over all who loved her.
