Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySUSAN BRAUN January 13, 1922 - March 27, 2010 Peacefully, on March 27, 2010, after a brief illness, Susan passed away at the Concordia Hospital. Susan was predeceased by her daughter Rosella; parents Abraham and Anna Krahn; brother Jake Krahn, and sister Helen Epp. Susan will be lovingly missed by her husband of 67 years, William Bill ; children Clare (Ruth), Marilyn (Carlo), Stan (Annette), Lois (Abe), Pat (Dave), Velma (George), Bernice, Betty (Duane), Lorna (Doug), and Karen. Her passing is also mourned by her brothers Peter, Abe, Andy, and Ben. Susan will also be remembered by 19 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Susan was born and grew up in the Altona area. She helped Bill on the farm for many years while they raised their 11 children retiring in 1979 to Morden. Her faith was very important and she was always involved with Sunday Schools, ladies groups, and Bible studies. After moving to Winnipeg, they joined the Winnipeg Seniors Choir, to fulfill her lifelong joy of singing. Susan's hands were always busy with sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She enjoyed reading and listening to her favourite radio programs. In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan's memory may be made to Back to the Bible, 100-189 Henderson Hwy., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1L7. The family would like to thank Dr. D. Caners, and the staff at the Concordia Hospital 3E for their care and compassion shown to Mom. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Morrow Gospel Church, 755 St. Anne's Road, with a viewing half hour prior and a reception to follow in the church hall.
