DIANA (DEANNA) MAY CRAIG September 28, 1944 - March 26, 2010 Peacefully on Friday, March 26, 2010, Deanna Craig passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 65 years. She will be remembered for always putting her family before herself, and for always being there for those in need. Remaining to forever cherish Deanna's memory are her son, Stan Batur; brothers, Doug (Cheryl), Clive (Bev), Bob (Angie), Murray (Judy); sisters Karen and Robby; grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces. She joins her mother Dorothy and her father Albert Russell Craig. Deanna grew up in Moose Jaw, SK, and moved to Winnipeg in her late teens where she resided until her death. She worked her entire life in various positions at nursing homes, catering, waitressing, and cleaning. She was an avid Blue Bombers and Goldeyes fan, and especially enjoyed watching her grandkids play hockey. On Monday, April 5, 2010 Deanna's Funeral Service and prayers will be held at 1:00 p.m. in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street at Manitoba Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to her friends who visited and helped Deanna at the hospital, and to those special nurses who helped her out during her last days. Remembering your craziness and ability to make gatherings a good time, remembering how you would have a tea party with your grandkids or give them piggy backs, or donning your clown costume to bring laughs to others. We will never forget how you always gave, and never asked for anything in return. Missing you always.
