Matkowska whose life is celebrated throughout this memorial site. Please feel welcome to share your thoughts and memories and let us know you were here. Zaneta was a very special lady who was loved by many. She remains in our hearts forever. In her extraordinary life, Zaneta had met and studied with Spiritual Elders from around the world, including the Dalai Lama, the Sakya Lama, Jetsun Kushok, Kalu Rimpoche and many other very prominent lamas, in Tibet, Dharamsala, Dhera Dun, and in The Americas. She was a teacher of the Seneca Wolfe Clan and helped Grandmother Twylah document 30 years of her teachings. She worked with her son to organize a very important Wolf Song. Zaneta travelled with many Spiritual Elders from various traditions around the world to conduct ceremonies in Mexico, Peru, India, Tibet, Greece, Egypt, other regions of Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Britain, Eastern Europe, and the United States. Zaneta studied with a very knowledgeable Yaqui Saman, many indigenous medicine people of the Americas, many Eastern teachers and received initiations from them as well as from the various Lamas. In her professional life, Zaneta worked with heads of states, heads of military, royalty, and corporate heads. She developed revolutionary simulation software that, along with her team, won a number of awards given by the Canadian Engineering Association. Her simulation work included assisting Japan in its plan to go green, China to restructure its utilities, and various other interesting projects. She worked on the Whole Earth Telescope Network which was a first in Astronomy. Dr. Betty Sue Flowers was Zaneta's supervisor for her senior thesis on The Ecology of Leadership . She was nominated for outstanding woman of the year by the Texas Women's Political Caucus for her extensive leadership programs around Austin, for women, young people, and the Hispanic people. Much of her last 20 years could be partially defined by her deep affection and gratitude for her pomeranians. She raised and cared for many starting with Dziwa, the grand matriarch. She also wrote a book and created the website called The Pom Pack. These dogs held a special place in her heart and became a great source of learning for many of those around her. Some of us were even gifted with offspring and the Pom Pack lives on. Zaneta Bardziejowicz Sas Matkowska was born in Yorktown, Saskatchewan and went to high school at John Taylor Collegiate. Zaneta's life simply cannot be summed up in a single read. So multifaceted and nuanced was her spirit, so boundless was her generosity and her achievements, it defies categorization. Her life, her capacity for love and her determination and discernment is a model for all humanity. Zaneta is survived by her sister Liz Bannerman who lives in Colorado. The most painful moment in a mother's life is to lose her child, no matter what age. It was a blow to me when I lost you, my beloved, Zanusia. The sorrow will live with me till I close my eyes forever. Zegnaj ukochana dziewuszku Till we meet again in the place where there is no more pain.....in Father's house, in Heaven, where our loved ones are waiting for us. They welcome us to our eternal home In deepest sorrow Forever loving you Mother and sister Elizabeth She will be buried at the Holy Ghost Cemetery on Monday, April 12 at 11:00 a.m.

I met Zaneta through JacQueline in California. I was a client of Jacqueline. When I met Zaneta I experienced a genuine, caring person of exquisite intelligence and sensitivity. There are dozens of wonderful attributes that I sensed in the first minutes of speaking with her but above all her humility and compassion. I only learned of her passing last week and have shared this knowledge with others who met her and admired her work, her endless generosity, and kindness. For those who were family or who were fortunate enough to be close to her, I know we all know that we have lost an incredible treasured soul. We all know she is enveloped in the boundless love of the infinite. And yes, one day we will meet with her again. May Zaneta know that she was loved and treasured by all beyond measure. May she continue her journey with the light and love of the infinite, of the universe and of all beings who experienced her beautiful soul. May Zaneta be blessed for all eternity. - Posted by: Anna Abderhalden (friend) on: Oct 07, 2014
