WILLIAM (BILL) WHIBLEY September 7, 1927 - April 2, 2010 With profound sadness we announce the peaceful passing of William (Bill) Jack Whibley, age 82. He was predeceased by his loving wife Jean, of 36 years, who passed on March 3, 2009 and by his sister Mary Jane Wing. Survived by sisters Donna Whibley, June Wing, Patricia Ann Meitz and Rose Godfrey; brothers Vic, Frank, James and Murray. He was a special uncle to Shauna (Todd) Sykes, Sheila (Bill) Boyd and great-uncle to Krissy Boyd. Bill's passion was golf and he was the pro at the Pine Ridge Golf Club where he met and married Jean, the love of his life. They retired early and enjoyed many winters in Texas golfing together. Special thanks to all of the nurses and staff at the Poseidon Care Centre, 2nd Floor who lovingly cared for both Bill and Jean. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 9, 2010 at Assumption Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with his beloved wife Jean.
