WILFRED ANTON ROSTEK July 1, 1941 April 6, 2010 It is with great sadness the family of Wilfred Anton Rostek announces his passing on April 6, 2010. Devoted husband and best friend of his beloved wife Penny of 49 years. Strong and loving father of his children that he was so proud of Michael (Valerie), Brian (Helene), Jeffrey (Toni) and Lisa. Dearly loved by his grandchildren, who could always bring a smile to his face, Janine, Robbie (Sherri), David, Matthew, Sydney, Brodie, Jordan, Chris, Amanda, Daniel and great-granddaughter Serenity. Dear brother of Theresa Schnerch, Veronica Laturski and Bernadette Olson. Predeceased by parents Anton, Mary and siblings Rudy, Johanna, Josephine and Eleanore. Brother-in-law of Robert James Pearse. Loving son-in-law of Frances Pearse. Wilf will be sadly missed by all of his nieces, nephews and his many friends and neighbours. Wilf gave a valiant fight to stay with his family as long as he could. He is now at peace and struggle free. As per Wilf's wishes a private family cremation has taken place. The family will host a memorial service and celebration of life at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 209 Cochrane Street, Whitby (905-668-4022) on Monday, April 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Many thanks to Dr. Han Messner, Dr. David Loach and the Allogenic Stem Cell Transplant Unit and staff of 14B at Princess Margaret Hospital.
