KENNETH ROBERT DOWSON After a courageous battle with Alzheimer's, our husband and uncle Ken passed away on April 4, 2010 at the age of 86. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Molly of 51 years. He is also survived by his nephew John (Tammy) Dowson and their daughter Kate, niece Sharon (Scott) Gregory-Overy and several nephews, nieces and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Reverend George William and Janet Dowson and brother Jack. Ken was born in Langbank, SK, on January 9, 1924. Ken served in the RCAF in Odium, England during the Second World War. This was followed by a long standing career as a Safety Systems Technician for 22 years at numerous bases in Canada and Germany. Ken was a member of #11 Royal Canadian Legion in Mossbank, SK and was a member of Robertson Memorial United Church. Ken loved animals and had two cats, Suzie and Dickens whom were a part of the family. The family would like to thank the staff of 3 South at the Grace Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba , 1O - 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2.
