ROBERT (BOOTS) WILFRED LEBOUTILLIER July 10, 1959 - April 7, 2010 It is with heavy hearts that we announce that on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 Robert died at the Victoria Hospital, at the age of 50 years, after a brave fight with cancer, with loved ones by his side. Remaining to forever cherish Robert's memory are his devoted wife and best friend Cynthia, of 25 years of marriage; daughters, Kirsten and Jolie; grandson, Travis; parents, David and Lois LeBoutillier; sisters, Suzanne (Gary), Yvonne (Don); brother, Mark (Angie); in-laws, Lawrence and Elsie Makwaychuk; brother-in-law Neil (Tina); and by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Wilfred and Lillian LeBoutillier as well as Lucille Bradley. Robert was born to David and Lois LeBoutillier in Neepawa, MB. After moving to Winnipeg he married Cynthia in May of 1983. Robert and Cynthia had two daughters, Kirsten in 1986 and Jolie in 1989. Ike the family Newfoundland dog was the next male in the household. Robert was a baseball coach for both daughters for a number of years. There are many great memories of times spent at the lake with family and friends. Boots enjoyed nothing more than sitting by the fire pit with a Kokanee Gold listening to a Blue Bomber game or to his favourite tunes. In March of 2005 the next male in the family came along, a grandson Travis born to Jolie. Travis quickly became Robert's little buddy. For many years he was in the lighting business and became a person who many in the industry went to for his expertise and support, both professionally and personally. Many close friends were made who became very supportive during Robert's illness and we cannot thank you enough for your caring words and acts of kindness. Prayers will be held on Sunday evening, April 11, 2010 at 7:00 p.m in the Roman Catholic Parish of Mary Mother of the Church, 85 Kirkbridge Drive, Winnipeg, MB. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning, April 12 at 10:30 a.m., also in the Church, with Rev. Fr. Leo Couture, presiding. For those who wish, viewing will be held during Prayers and prior to Mass. Interment will follow in the Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue. Our family would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to Doctors, Maxwell and Ogaranko and the staff at Buhler Cancer Centre. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
