ROBERT DENNIS SIGURDUR OLSON It is with sadness that the family of Robert Olson announces his sudden passing on Friday, April 9, 2010 at the Arborg Hospital at the age of 63 years. Bobby was born January 29, 1947 in Geysir. He was predeceased by his loving wife Geraldine Olson (Sinclair), parents Halli and Kristine, brothers Raymond and Wilfred, and sister Grace. He is survived by his children Tammy (Fred), Marvin (Lezley), Lynne (Joey), and Tiffany (Corey) and also his stepchildren Denise, Lisa (Henry), and Michael (Crystal); grandchildren Nolan, Ashton, Cameron, Brandon, Shelby-Lynn, Jessica, Sarah, Dylan, Lorelei, Dylan, Tiara, Allison, Shanice, Marcel, Mya, Alyssa, and Michelle; as well as his brothers Thor (Emily), Roy (Barb) and sister Hazel (Colin) and their families. He is also survived by Geraldine's family; Deanna, Debbie (Dennis), Ron (Brenda), Reg, Chris (Rita), Kevin (Petey) and their families. He had nothing but good things to say about Auntie Myra and he thought the world of her; I hope she knows how special she was to him. When he spoke of Peguis and the family he had there it was always home to him. Bobby worked for the Freshwater Fish Marketing Corporation for most of his life and spoke of it often; always with fond memories. He spent many seasons on the lake at Berens River. He had a special place in his heart for Kim who often helped him and was always so kind. Memorial service will be on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Riverton Fellowship Circle Church, Riverton, MB. Viewing will be one hour prior to service. Interment to follow at a later date at the Geysir Cemetery. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
