RUDOLPH WAUHKONEN (RUDY) Rudy passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Bethesda Place, Steinbach, Manitoba at the age of 78 years. Rudy is survived by his brother Ken (Matthew), sister Lynn, brother-in-law Wayne, nephew Bill as well as numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his father William, mother Laina, and brother Allan. Rudy spent many years in the Steinbach area and made many friends and acquaintances. Those friendships were greatly appreciated. Thank you also to the staff and residents of Bethesda Place for their care and companionship over the past few years. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Bethesda Place, 399 Hospital St., Steinbach, with Pastor Al Maier of St. Paul Lutheran Church officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined and instead, those who wish may make a donation to Bethesda Place in Rudy's name. Ash interment will follow at Heritage Cemetery after the service.
