ELIZABETH (LIZ) FLORA MABEL ELLEN GROUCOTT CLARK Elizabeth (Liz) Flora Mabel Ellen Groucott Clark, born November 26, 1918 in Westbourne, MB, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2010 at the St. Norbert Personal Care Home. Liz was predeceased by son Robert John Clark (1969), husband John Elmer Clark (1980) and great-grandson Joel Wiebe (2007). Liz is lovingly remembered by her two children, daughter Brighit-Libby Morrigin, grandchildren Jzero and Vienna Hauser. Son Owen (Kolleen) Clark, grandchildren, Kelly (Amy) Clark, great-grandchildren Lauren and Austin Clark of St. Paul, MN; Kevin (Sharon) Clark; Debbie (Rob) Dohan of Winnipeg. Granddaughters Sherry Clark and Terri (Tim) Rouault, great-grandchildren Michelle and Marcie Beach, Amanda (Sean) Williams, Dylan and Colin Rouault, great-great-grandchildren Kali, Sydney, Xander and Dalyla of Edmonton. Liz worked for many years as a telephone operator for M.T.S., marrying John in 1946. In spite of life's struggles and trials she enjoyed gardening, social and church activities. She also spent many happy artistic hours, playing piano and ukulele, sketching, drawing and painting. She moved into St. Norbert Personal Care Home in 2001. The family thanks the St. Norbert staff for their care and consideration during Liz's residency. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 22 at the Voyage Funeral Home, 1531 Pembina Hwy. at 3:00 p.m. The Venerable Jennifer Sisson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Winnipeg Humane Society or the Alzheimer's Society in memory of Liz would be appreciated.
