Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLUMINA LENA DUCHARME (nee ROUGEAU) With her family by her side, Lena passed away peacefully at 4:40 p.m., April 18, 2010 at the age of 89 years at Ste. Anne Hospital. Mom was born in Ste. Rose du Lac on December 30, 1920 to Dennis and Josephine Rougeau. Mom met and married dad Micheal Ducharme on August 14, 1937 and together they had 10 children. They chose Richer, MB as their home and a place to raise their children. Mom was predeceased by her parents Dennis and Josephine and her husband Micheal on July 10, 1996 after 59 years. She was also predeceased by five of her children, Andrew, Ronald, Theresa, Delores and Violet and also five grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Joe (Phil), Carrie, Russ, Sylvia, Don, Len (Darlene). She has numerous grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren; also her loving sister Rita Ducharme (Earl) and her son-in-law James Tourond. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Ste. Anne Hospital for the care and compassion given to our Mother. Cremation has taken place. Funeral services will be at Green Acres on #1 Hwy. at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 22, 2010.
