HELEN DEMANSKI Peacefully with her family at her side, Helen Demanski passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital on April 18, 2010 in her 84th year. Helen was predeceased by her parents Nick and Anne, and her sister Jean (Elmer). She leaves to mourn her son Wayne, daughter Marlene (Grant), her grandchildren Trisha and John, sisters Ruth (Russ), Shirley (Albert), and a long list of family and friends. Mom was a truly remarkable woman. Although she may have been small in stature, she had an abundance of character, grit, determination and especially love and goodwill that she shared with everyone she met. The extent of our grief and sorrow at this time seems overwhelming, but we must draw strength from the love and joy she provided us in the time she was with us. We were truly blessed to have our very own little angel for as long as we did. A Memorial Service will be held at the Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 9:30 a.m., followed by a light reception. Interment of cremated remains will take place at Glen Eden Cemetery at a later date. If friends so desire donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
