Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAUL KIROUAC 1931 - 2010 On Thursday, April 15, 2010, Mr. Paul Kirouac of Ste. Anne, MB, passed away peacefully at the Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, BC, surrounded by his family at the age of 79. Paul was born in La Broquerie, MB, on March 16, 1931, to Trefflé and Marie-Louise (née Parent) Kirouac. Paul is survived by his loving wife Marguerite (née Bisson); sons Louis (Holly) and François (Diane) of Beausejour, MB, daughter Lise (David Ash) of Langley, BC, daughter Rachelle (Daryl Poitras) of Surrey, BC, son Raymond of Ste. Anne, MB, and daughter Jo-Anne (James Belmore) of Blumenort, MB; grandchildren Guy (Esmeralda), Brigitte (Tim), Jérémie (Michelle), André (Ashley), Sheila, Donavon, Jasmine, Daniel, and several great-grandchildren. Also survived by one brother Rosaire (Denise) of Kelowna, BC, one sister Thérèse Boychuk (late Tom), and sisters-in-law Angeline (late Lionel) and Sylvia (late Jean-Marie), all of Winnipeg, MB. Paul is also survived by many friends and numerous relatives in both the Kirouac and Bisson families. In 1967, Marguerite and Paul moved to Ste. Anne, MB to raise their family. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on November 15, 2008. Paul worked at Borland Construction from 1964 until his retirement in 1996. The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Jerry Simkus and Dr. Rob Sharp, and to the medical personnel at the Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, BC, most notably the Cardiac Surgery ICU and ward Two-North for their compassionate care and their valiant efforts in trying to save our Dad during his last week. Many thanks to Father Daniel Geddes and Pastor Brent Cantelon for their pastoral care to Paul and the family. We wish to extend our sincere appreciation to Henderson's Langley Funeral Home (Langley, BC) for all their help. A private celebration of his life was held in Langley, BC, on Saturday, April 17. A funeral mass will be held in the Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church, in Ste. Anne, MB, on Saturday, April 24 at 2:00 p.m., celebrated by l'abbé René Chartier.
