Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES (JAMIE) HARRY MCDONALD May 26, 1970 - April 19, 2010 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved father, son, brother and uncle, James McDonald of Winnipeg, Manitoba on April 19, 2010. He is survived by his two loving daughters Lisa (Brad) and Faith, their mother Carmen, his parents Henry and Betty McDonald, two brothers Robert (Diane), Chris and Cody; Glenn (Lisa), Katelyn and Brandon, and sister Cathy (Moses). Jamie was always the life of the party with his jokes and one-liners. He loved Vegas, Elvis, and watching and participating in various sporting events. He loved getting together with family and friends. Jamie loved sports and participated in hockey, spongee, broomball and baseball. Because of this, he collected sports memorabilia. In his younger years, Jamie spent time being a rink rat' at the old Arena, hanging out with the Jets after a home game. Some of his hobbies were traveling, relaxing in his hot tub smoking a good Cuban cigar, fishing, camping, and hunting; he especially loved Brereton Lake. Jamie loved spending time with his daughters. He was known for his barbequing and making a mean chili. He was proud to be one of the whoopi boyz', with Mike and Ray. A celebration of Jamie's life will take place Friday, April 23 at 2:00 p.m. at the Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment will follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens with a gathering of family and friends in the Glen Lawn Reception Centre.
