Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARTHUR GEOFFREY HALL Arthur Geoffrey Hall was born in Winnipeg March 8, 1949, passed away April 15, 2010 in Edson, Alberta suddenly of heart disease. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Grace Hall, infant sister, Patricia Elaine, Cheryl Davidson, Aunt Lil and cousin Bill Hall, and his grandparents. Left to mourn are his brother David and sister Barb (Michael Stock) and nephew Michael, Uncle Milt (Eva), aunts Enid and Selma (Johny), cousin Jack (Elaine) and their families, along with his good friends from Winnipeg and Alberta. Geoff attended high school in St. Vital and graduated from the University of Brandon, B.A. and Manitoba M.A. Sociology, L.L.B. Geoff practiced law first in Manitoba and then in Alberta. In 1991, he established his own law practice in Edson, Alberta. Geoffrey's dry wit, astute observations and comments left us laughing, thinking, and always looking forward to his company. Geoffrey was a member of the Masonic Lodge, a voracious reader, enjoyed camping with friends and just finished a course in Tai Chi with his buddy Norm Lesrosiers. In Geoff's younger years, he enjoyed skiing, golfing, playing hockey, tennis and badminton and some of his best times were at the family cottage in Victoria Beach. A wake was held in Alberta, and it was evident how much Geoff was loved. He was appreciated for his down to earth approach to life, his over-whelming generosity, and the person they could always count on to listen and help whenever needed. Geoffrey will be buried at the Victoria Beach Cemetery with prayers on Saturday, April 24 at 2:00 p.m. and wake to follow. Geoff's family wish to extend their appreciation for the assistance of his friends both in Winnipeg and Alberta. Donations can be made to Evan Ty Jenkins Pediatric Research Foundation, O/A Treasure Life, 5601-50 Ave. Beaumont, AB T4X 1C9. No flowers please.
