GABRIELLE ANDERSON (nee MICHAUD) Peacefully, on Sunday, April 18, 2010, Gabrielle Anderson passed away. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter, in 2007. Gabrielle is survived by her two sons, Bruce (Sheila) and David; her brothers Roland (Claire) and John Michaud, sister-in-law Jean Anderson, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, special niece Mickey Petersen, and several other nieces and nephews. Gabrielle was born on April 23, 1928, and raised in Norwood. As a young woman she worked at Deer Lodge Hospital, where she met her husband Walter. They shared 60 years of married life together. Gabrielle was a hard working woman who dedicated herself to creating a life for her family and achieving the goals she set for herself. Gaby was fortunate in her neighbours and was always appreciative of their friendship. Many thanks to Lynne Meyer for her care and support of Gaby. The family would like to acknowledge the compassionate care Gaby received from Judy MacDonald, the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit and in particular, that of Father Roland. We are also grateful for the many friends who visited Gaby while she was ill. Your support was much appreciated.
