DENIS RENE BRODEUR Peacefully on April 22, 2010 at St. Boniface General Hospital, Denis passed away at the age of 63 years. Denis is survived by his parents Roland and Irene Brodeur; his daughter Michelle Delamere (Shaun); his son Richard Brodeur (Julie); his four grandchildren, Christopher and Samantha Delamere and David and Scott Brodeur; his two sisters Paulette Abraham (Maurice) and Suzanne Ross (Bob). Denis was born and raised in St. Boniface where he attended Provencher School. He spent many years in Calgary, working as a store manager for Radio Shack before returning to Winnipeg in 2003. Denis recently received his 25 year pin from The Source (Radio Shack). He continued working there until his health deteriorated. His favourite hobbies included listening to music and playing the drums. He was an enthusiastic fan of the Calgary Stampede. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. Should friends so desire, a memorial donation may be made in Denis' memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 200 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
