WILLIAM ADAMSON William Big Bill Adamson passed away April 15, 2010 with Harvest' friends Bob and George by his side. Winnipeg Harvest mourns the loss of this gentle giant of a man who touched our hearts and from whom we learned so much. Born on January 8, 1935, Bill loved to travel, often living hand to mouth on the streets of cities all over North America. Bill arrived in Winnipeg in 1998 and often credited the friends he made at Winnipeg Harvest with the reason he stayed. He became the self-proclaimed potato man of Winnipeg Harvest sorting and boxing tens of thousands of pounds of potatoes for those in need. A tribute and celebration of Bill's life will be held at Winnipeg Harvest on Monday, May 3 at 1:00 p.m. Thank you, our friend. You will never be forgotten!
