ALICE DE JESUS SOARES Peacefully, on April 24, 2010, at Seven Oaks Hospital, Alice Soares passed away at the age of 89 with her family and friends by her side. Alice was predeceased by her husband Joao, daughter Filomena, son Joao, grandson Bruno, son-in-law Honorato, and daughter-in-law Alzira. She will be forever cherished and lovingly remembered by her children, Carlos in Winnipeg, Maria Alice (Jorge) in Ontario, Luis (Armanda) in Winnipeg, Fatima in California, Fernando (Fatima) in Faial, Manuel (Conceicao) in Winnipeg, Angustias (Dimas) in Ohio and son- in-law Rogerio in Winnipeg. Numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends all around the world are left to remember a woman, beautiful both inside and out, that they were blessed to have as part of their lives. The family would like to thank the staff in ICU at Seven Oaks for the special care and kindness given to our beloved Alice. Thank you to the nurses that gave her extra special care, smiles and loving gestures in her time of need. Bless you. Prayers will be held on Thursday, April 29 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. N.
