Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIE-ANNA LANGELIER Peacefully on April 25, 2010, at the E. M. Crowe Memorial Hospital in Eriksdale, MB, Marie-Anna Langelier, aged 92 years of St. Laurent, MB, went to see her Lord and Creator. Mom was born in Aubigny on March 23, 1918. She moved to St. Laurent with her family at the tender age of six weeks old. She was raised in St. Laurent, received her education there and resided in the area all her life. She was the third youngest of eight children four girls and four boys. She met her husband Napoleon Langelier in St. Laurent and was later married on April 20, 1938. This marriage was blessed with six children four girls and two boys. She was a stay-at-home Mom and was busy raising her children. She loved to crochet, knit and sew for her family. There was also a hot cup of tea, fresh preserves and fresh farm cream for family and friends who would drop in. She had a passion for playing cards and, in later years, taught her grandchildren how to play 31'. Mom was thoughtful in always ensuring her grandchildren would win more often than lose. Mom was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Marianne, her husband Napoleon, a daughter Lucienne, a grandson Ronald and a son-in-law Henri Dheilly. She is survived by her daughters Irene (Moe), Annette, Alice (Mike); sons Nap (Helene), Norbert; a daughter-in-law Penny; and a son-in-law Armand Bonneteau along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other family members and many close friends. Prayers will be said at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 30, 2010 at the St. Laurent Roman Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Church with Father Dominique Kerbrat officiating. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the E. M. Crowe Memorial Hospital in Eriksdale for the wonderful care they gave our Mom in her time of need. A very special thank you to her friend Shelley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital Guild - in care of Irene Sigurdson, Box 474, Eriksdale, MB R0C 0W0.
