Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGARY PETER YUSISHEN With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Gary on Monday, April 26, 2010. Gary was comforted by the love of his family in his final days, and he passed away in his daughter's arms with his sister by his side. Gary was born in Beausejour, Manitoba on April 6, 1953. He was raised in Grand Marais (Grand Beach), Manitoba, which is also where he received his education. He was much loved by his wonderful mother, father and two sisters, Joyce and Merle, and all of his extended family as well. Gary worked hard, enjoyed life, and he had a great sense of humour. He was fun-loving, kind spirited, genuine, honest, and a pleasure to be around. Gary loved to play games of all sorts - card games, horse shoes, lawn darts, and he enjoyed the company of his family while always having a great time. Gary decided he wanted to become a Heavy Duty Mechanic. He completed his apprenticeship and then moved to Quesnel, British Columbia, where he met his wife and had four children. His children, Darrin, Crystal, Lisa and Mark, and his five grandchildren (Emily, Alexis, Isabella, Seamus, and Baby Yusishen on the way) were the most important part of his life, and there couldn't be a father or grandfather who loved and adored his family anymore than Gary did. Gary worked hard to build his own successful business; he owned and operated the business he was so proud of, Precision Diesel Rebuilders for over 25 years. He made many friends, he was passionate about his work, and he was considered the best of the best. Everyone who met Gary immediately liked him. People sensed right away that he was a true, genuine, caring person, with a witty sense of humour. He used to say he showed his feelings too much, but the family that knew him loved the fact that they always knew how he felt about them just by looking in his eyes. A Celebration of Gary's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at The Wayside Chapel in Grand Marais. Interment will follow at Balsam Bay Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gary's memory may be made to The Picks Disease Foundation, or to a charity of one's choice.
