Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • I worked for/with Gerry (as I knew him by that name), his wife, Doris (and his brother,Maurice & his wife,Lucille), at the "Fireside Lounge" inside the "Club 4" hotel, on Manitoba Ave, from 1983-1986.(I came up with the "Club 4" name & they accepted that name to change from the former. I thought of the name, as there were the four owners). Gerry was a wonderful boss. Always laughing and making jokes. (Doris, Maurice & Lucille, were also so wonderful to work for). I thought of Gerry today and looked for his name, only to find his obituary. My deepest sympathies to Gerry's family. I will always think of Gerry (& Doris, Maurice & Lucille), with the fondest of memories. "Adieu Gerry". - Posted by: Barbara (Former Employee) on: Oct 15, 2014
