Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEON CLAUDE REY Peacefully at the St. Claude Pavilion, surrounded by his family, Leon Rey passed away Monday, April 26, 2010 at the age of 89 years. He leaves to mourn his passing eight children, Leonel (Simone), Simone (Normand) Dacquay, Norbert (Donna), Arthur (Lorie), Roland (Lorraine), Rene (Lorraine), Richard (Janet) and Mariette (Grant) Campbell; 22 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn, five sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Leon was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Rose (nee Chappellaz), his parents Josephine and Joseph Rey, three sisters, six brothers and two grandchildren Marina Dacquay and Joey Rey. Prayers will be held at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel, 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 30, 2010. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. with prayers and memorial service at 10:00 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Leon's memory to St. Claude/Haywood Wellness Centre, Box 400, St. Claude, MB R0G 1Z0.
