MANFRED ROTH It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our father, grandfather, brother and uncle, Manfred Roth on Monday, April 26, 2010. Manfred was predeceased by his father Edmund Roth and his nephew Jamie Allan Roth. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother Charlotte Roth, daughter Darlene Roth-Chaloner (grandson Hayden), son Corey Roth (Kim Rawluk) and Mary Roth. Manfred will be sadly missed by his brother Ingy Roth (Diana Roth), his sister Gundy Lachance (Mel Lachance), his sister Claudia Timlick (Cameron Timlick), his brother John Roth and his Aunty Else and Uncle Oswald. He will be fondly remembered by his nephews Terry and Jeffery and his nieces Lisa, Lori, Angie and Mindy, along with many other nieces and nephews who loving referred to him as Uncle Manny. Manfred's apple of his eye was his only grandchild Hayden Jamie Chaloner, who was his pride and joy. Manfred had two lifelong friends that he loved dearly, Wayne King and Dale Vigg. Manfred was born in Bonn, Germany in 1949 and immigrated to Canada with his family in 1953 at the age of four. He worked as, and pursued a career as a journeyman painter. Manfred enjoyed spending time at his parent's cottage in Lester Beach and many outdoor activities including golf and fishing as well as coaching his son's soccer team. Memorial Service will be held at Klassen Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the MS Society, 100-1465 Buffalo Place, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3T 1L8.
