Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARYANN AILEEN SIMPSON (CHILDS) Born February 1, 1927 in Gilbert Plains, Manitoba, passed away April 22, 2010 at Victoria Hospital, Winnipeg, Manitoba. She is survived by her husband Ted Simpson, children Roy (Bev), Linda (Danny), Bill (Theresa), Denise, Debbie, Shirley-Ann (Shawn) and Brenda-Lea. Grandchildren, Jason (Jennifer), Roy, Bridie, Shauneen (Gerry), Danielle (Brent), Trevor (Michelle), Tyler, Dallas, James and Conner. Great-grandchildren Liam, Kendal, Cole, Deklin, Colton, Emmalee, McKenzie, Jason, Derian and Clark. She also left a brother Roy (Iris) Childs, and a sister Vi Quinn to mourn her passing. A Celebration of Mom's life was held at Lauder, Manitoba on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 in the Lauder Hall. A private family interment will take place at a future date in Gilbert Plains, Manitoba as per Mom's wishes. In lieu of flowers, friends can send donations to either the Canadian Diabetes Society or CancerCare Manitoba.
