Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT (BOB) JOHN YORK 1932 - 2010 Passed away peacefully on May 2, 2010 at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 77. Bob is survived by his loving wife Peggie of 55 years. He is also survived by his daughter Darcy Price (Chris), grandchildren Michael and Robert of Thunder Bay, Cheryl Miller of Winnipeg and Garret and Adam of Iowa, son Darrell of Calgary, as well as brother Blaine. He was predeceased by his sisters Evelyn and Heather and brothers George and David. Bob was an employee of CAE for 30 years and Ford-New Holland for 12 years. He was very involved with Winnipeg Colonels of the Western Major Fastball League, coached CPAC Sr. Women's Fastball Team and was very involved with the CPAC Men's Ten Pin Bowling League. Many thanks to Dr. R. Hayward and undying thanks to Joan and Jerry Tardi for their loving care and compassion for Bob and Peggie. Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. A reception for family and friends will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 8 at Riverside Estates in the Family Room at 815 St. Anne's Rd., St. Vital. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's memory may be made to the M.S. Society or the Children's Wish Foundation.
