Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHERESE AVANTHAY (nee LEMOULLEC) Peacefully at the Notre Dame Foyer on Monday, May 3, 2010, Mrs. Thérèse Avanthay of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba passed away at the age of 85 years. Thérèse was born in Notre Dame de Lourdes to Joseph and Marie-Julienne along with seven sisters, Marie, Joséphie, Eugénie, Valentine, Jeanne, Annie-Marie, Cécile and one brother Clément. She attended school in Notre Dame and completed her grade nine. She married Roger Avanthay in 1944 and together they had three sons, Réal, René and Gilles, and five daughters, Noyale, Christiane, Marie-Josephe, Marie-Paule and Roseline. She was also the grandma of 18 grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church on Friday, May 7, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Viewing will be held prior to the Service. Interment in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Foundation Notre Dame. Adam's Funeral Home of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba in care of arrangements.
