NANCY GRACE SHINDAK (nee MOAR) December 28, 1938 - May 1, 2010 Peacefully with her family by her side, Mom passed away at the age of 71. She was predeceased by her parents Ruby and Alec; brothers Alec, Alfred, Hank; sister Margie (Bing) and also special friend Edward Krost. She will be lovingly remember by her sons Eddie (Val) and Lindsay, and preciously by her four grandchildren Brooke, Chantel, Jordan and Tyler. Nancy is survived by her sisters Emily, Dorothy (Jim), Mary (Gary), by brothers Duke (Margaret), Charlie (Donna), sisters-in-law, Lucille, Darlene and Lorena, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Nancy was born and raised in Kinosota, MB. She later moved to Winnipeg were she raised her family. Nancy took pride in helping raise her two grandsons Jordan and Tyler who were very near and dear to her heart. Also she will be missed by granddaughters Brooke, who Nancy shared her baking secrets of making her special Christmas cookies and bannock, also by Chantel who holds a special spot in her heart. Nancy loved a good game of bingo and evenings at the casino. But most of all Nancy treasured time with her family. Enjoying a get-together for a big meal or BBQ and even a late night poker game. Family was the most important thing to her. The family would like to thank the staff at GH4 Health Sciences Centre for all their support and special thanks to Audrey who shares carmex beauty tip secrets, Kennzie, Ida and Peter for tucking her in at night. Also a special thanks to Eileen Molnor and Miranda Coleman for all her help and support. In accordance to Nancy's wishes there will be a private celebration of her life for her family and close friends on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 69 Manford Close between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Nancy suffered from her disease (rheumatoid arthritis) for most of her life. She may now rest in peace and enjoy her new body God has given her. Rest in Peace Mom, We love and Miss you! Chapel Lawn 885-9715
