JUNKO (JUNE) YOSHINO October 1, 1944 May 5, 2010 On Wednesday, May 5, 2010, June passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Riverview Health Centre. June will be dearly missed by her beloved husband Dick; children, Glenn (Leah, Jalen, Mia), Cindy (Nigel); brothers, Victor (Keiko), Ken (Fumiko); mother-in-law Sue; in-laws, Judy (Jack), Steve (Mariellen), Keiko, as well as many nieces and nephews. On Tuesday, May 11, 2010, June's funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Knox United Church, 400 Edmonton Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba. The family would like to thank Dr. W. Leslie; Dr. R. Wong; Nurse Cathy; staff at Riverview Health Centre; close friends; with a special thanks to Susan and Toshio Nishi. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in June's memory to the Canadian CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or the Manitoba Japanese Cultural Centre, 180 McPhillips Street, Winnipeg, MB R3E 2J9.
