MARYANN SOLMUNDSON March 22, 1913 - May 2, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mother and Amma on Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Rouge Valley Centenary Hospital, Scarborough, Ontario at the age of 97 years. Beloved wife of the late Simon Hjalti Solmundson (1972). Predeceased by son Allan and daughter-in-law Doris. Loving Mother of Richard (Gerry), Prince George, BC and Barbara (Mike Amenta), Scarborough, ON. Cherished Amma of Terry, David, Mark, Debby (Willie Regensburger), Lori (Wayne Collins) and Cheryl (Brian Serre). Langamma of Michael, Kieren, Kirk, Christopher, Kimberley, Jessica, Leanne, Steven and Melissa. Dear Auntie of numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Millie of Chicago, Illinois. Predeceased by sister Lillian and brothers Joseph and Jerry. MaryAnn will be sadly missed by many friends, especially those dear to her in the Riverton Icelandic Lodge where she has resided since 1984 and enjoyed a very active and healthy life. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Riverton-Hnausa Lutheran Church, Riverton, MB. with Pastor Jaycen Snider officiating. Interment at Gimli Cemetery. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Riverton-Hnausa Lutheran Church. Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Gimli in care of arrangements.
