JEAN CECILE SAWCHUK (nee JAREMOWICH) December 2, 1918 - May 6, 2010 Peacefully on May 6, 2010 Mom passed away at Health Sciences Centre at the age of 91 years young. Jean (Mom) leaves to mourn her passing her loving daughter Vivian (Bob) Allan and her dear grandchildren Jason and Michael. Mom had one great-grandchild Thomas Allan. Mom was predeceased by her parents Nicholas and Johanna Jaremowich; her brothers and sisters and spouses Albin, John (Emily and Hanna), Frank (Jean), Joe (Julie) Jaremowich and Lucille (Howard) Oughton. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Mom resided in Warren for many years and then moved to Oak Park Lodge in Woodlands where she resided for the last few years. Mom was an amazing woman who had worked hard her entire life. Her life was not always easy, but she was a strong, determined woman who always put her family first. Her family was her most important treasure. She will be greatly missed by family and friends, we will always cherish our memories of mom and her unending love and support in our endeavors. All who knew mom loved her quiet nature and positive outlook on life, her sweet spirit has left an imprint in everyone's heart and soul and will be missed. The family would like to thank all of the home care workers, they were like my (Vivian) sisters. Also thank you to Stonewall, Selkirk and Health Sciences Centre. Also, thank you to all of my daycare children and parents for all their understanding. Pallbearers will be grandsons Jason and Michael, also Ron Jaremowich, Stewart Smith, Wayne Stewart, Ray Henry. Honorary pallbearers are Bob Comberbach, Eddy Jaremowich and all other family and friends. Prayers will be held on Monday, May 10 at 7:00 p.m. at the Church of the Annunciation, Woodlands. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 11 at 12:00 noon also at the Church of the Annunciation, Woodlands. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
