MARTIN (MARTY) ANDREW MURANETZ November 17, 1935 - May 6, 2010 Peacefully, on May 6, 2010, Marty passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 74 years. Marty was predeceased by his mother Ann and nephew Vernon. Left to cherish Marty's memory are his beloved wife of 48 and a half years, Marie; daughter Mardene (Shane); loving sister Marie (Stan) Hrabarchuk; and his nephew Ronnie (Cathy) Hrabarchuk of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Marty's commitment, kindness, gracious nature and his laugh will continue to shine in the many lives of the people he came into contact with. He loved his jobs and the people he worked with. He enjoyed all games, sports and had a passion for walking. Respecting Marty's wishes, cremation has taken place. Celebration gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Avenue, West. Special thanks to the GA5 doctors, nurses and staff at the Health Sciences Centre who made his stay comfortable. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marty's name to a charity of one's choice. You were taken from us much too soon, you will be in our hearts forever. We love you.
