LOUISE MIDDLETON (WARREN) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend on May 6, 2010. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband David, daughters Dianna (Karl) and Nancy (Wolfgang), sons Bruce (Linda), Warren (Tracy), Jim (Tracy) and Glen (Debra). Also mourning her loss are her 10 grand-children and 13 great-grandchildren. Louise was born to Bud and Gladys Warren on August 31, 1930, growing up in St. James and the West End with brothers Bill, John, Brian, Donald and sister Joyce. Following school, Louise worked at the Blue Cross and then married her sweetheart David, celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary in June 2009. Louise retired from CIBC in 1990 and they moved to their cottage at Gull Lake. Mom was a true snow bird, living the winter months in Hemet, California and the last four years in Osoyoos, BC and summering at the lake, she always said it was the best of both worlds. She was an amazing knitter, creating beautiful sweaters, mitts and slippers for her family. In retirement she learned to golf and was a member at Pine Falls Golf Course. Her baking, especially her peanut butter balls and Jim's pumpkin pies were fought over at our many family gatherings. She also loved to play games, particularly cribbage and dominos. At her request, there will be no service and a private family celebration of her life will take place at the lake on Mother's Day. In lieu of flowers a donation to CancerCare or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Always Loved, Forever Remembered
