JAKOB KRAUS Jakob Kraus, beloved husband of Faith, of Lee River, MB passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2010 at the Beausejour Hospital at the age of 74 years. He leaves to mourn his wife of 48 years, daughter Colleen (Andrew Robert), son Norman (Wilma), daughter Correna (Barry Miller), son James (Lillian), seven grandchildren Michael, Adam, Amanda, Matthew, Jamie, Ethan and Makayla; his brother Martin (Christl) and sister Anna (Lothar) both in Germany, also four nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 13 at 1:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue East, Beausejour with Pastor Jake Doell officiating. The service will terminate at the chapel with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba 200-6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
